Started by Seth Bird and Daniel Doege of Columbia City, IN, the two Indiana University graduates saw the need for more entertainment choices in Whitley County. Both have attended several LANs in the region and Seth has helped plan and run IU Bloomington's Computer Gaming Club's LAN War. They decided to work together with the help of their gaming group, Arrested Development Clan to form LAN Events. Their first event was September 5, 2009 and ran for 18 hours. LAN Events became an LLC in August of 2009.

Mission Statement: We here at LAN Events promise to provide gaming clans and communities with everything they need to have a successful LAN Party.
